Import a PDF or EPUB

Choose a PDF or EPUB in Files.

  1. Save it to your device.
  2. In NovaReader, tap Import.
Local file, local reading.

Choose a voice and pace

  1. Play a voice preview and select a narrator.
  2. Adjust playback speed while listening.

Read or listen

  1. Choose a page or chapter.
  2. Tap any passage to begin.

Listen to a journal

  1. Choose journal reading if available.
  2. Check columns, tables, and figures.

  1. Import while connected.
  2. Test playback.
  3. Try it in Airplane Mode.

Troubleshoot a document

  • Import fails: check the format, download, and file access.
  • Missing words: note the page; scans or layouts may affect extraction.
  • Journal order: check the mode and affected page.
  • Summary issue: compare it with the source.
  • No sound: check volume and output.
